During the COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020 -21 many people experienced loneliness and isolation. We also spent a lot more time at home and in our local area. It became obvious that Hawker could benefit from more infrastructure to support the community and improve the livability of the suburb. However, waiting for someone else to fix it isn't feasible!

 We are a small (growing) community-based group of volunteers striving to improve Hawker for everyone. 

Our current programs focus on landscaping, a community garden, and building community connections.
