Creating a native garden

In April the contractor got busy creating good conditions for our new gardens around the Hawker toilet block. He ripped the hard, compacted ground and added new soil, donated by ACT Government. We installed coir logs and wooden sleepers to edge the garden and stop erosion. Over Easter we planted native plants in the front garden and mulched it all. It is looking fabulous !
