Transforming Hawker

Updated: Mar 25, 2022

We started with a bang with an Market Day on the 27th February 2022. It was a wonderful turnout for our little project and were super stoked to see the interest that we did.

We had a range of local stall holders attending; included Mervyn and Craig selling local made(or perhaps collected)honey.

Hawker Men's Shed and the repair cafe were there advertising their next workshop on the 20th March 2022. We look forward to seeing their work when we get the money to buy timber to frame the wicking beds.

Tim brought his amazing recycled wood garden beds.

Hawker Primary School had cakes and crafts, and a raffle

Global Worming

Plus others, such as Rotary, and Friends of Pinnacles. We had local MLA's turn up. Thanks to Jo Clay, Tara Chenne and Peter Cain for their interest and support.

But most of all a big thanks to the Ginninderra Catchment Group who without their support and direction it wouldn't have been possible.
